Polestar was unveiled at the Geneva Auto Show for the first time. It was introduced as a 78kWh battery, with dual motors that offers 300kW power along with 330Nm torque. By targeting a 500km range, there are good chances for Volvo’s Polestar to be well recognized in the Australian market.
A considerable share of its production will be traded on a subscription program that includes car ownership basics that comprises servicing, cleaning and maintenance. Owners would not need to take their car to a dealership for servicing their staff. They will use a digital key for accessing, servicing and returning the car while its owner is at job. With an introductory price of $A63,720 (€39,900), in Germany, Volvo’s Polestar is thought to cost nearly $A90,000 for Australian users.
